About Scooby

Meet Scooby! Scooby is a gentle soul who arrived at the shelter with his sister after their previous owners could no longer care for them. Fortunately, the folks at The Red Dog Rescue stepped in to help. At just three years old, Scooby is a calm and sweet companion. While he may be a bit shy initially, a little praise will bring out his charming personality. He’s well-mannered, potty trained, and knows how to handle crate time, although he might gently paw at the door to express his desire to join you. Grooming is not his favorite activity, especially when it involves the loud air drier, but with patience, he’ll happily comply. He has met foster kitties and other dogs, getting along with both without any fuss. Though not an active player yet, Scooby appreciates the company of his canine friends. After enduring some untreated skin and ear issues, his fur is a bit sparse in places, but with continued care, he’s on track to feel and look great again. He is ready for a loving home that will appreciate his quiet nature and warm personality. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
