Taiya is a female, large mixed-breed dog who now resides in Eaton, OH. At just 4.5 to 5 months old, her playful nature is complemented by her medium-length black and white coat. She's spayed and her vaccinations are up to date, making her ready for a loving home. While we don't have her weight on hand, she's growing fast and will thrive with plenty of training and social interaction.

About Taiya

Taiya and her brother Tobias were surrendered to the Dog Warden, highlighting the all-too-common issue of pet abandonment. It's unfortunate to see dogs like them left behind due to reasons that often stem from poor choices, such as allowing uncontrolled breeding or simply taking on too many pets. Now, Taiya is eager to find a loving home where she can thrive. At about 4.5 to 5 months old, Taiya is already showing signs of growth; her puppy teeth will soon be replaced with adult ones. Though marked as Lab/Heeler mixes, we suspect they have a larger breed in their lineage, given that they weigh over 40 pounds already and are expected to grow to around 80-85 pounds. Starting training early will be crucial for Taiya, as she's smart, affectionate, and loves being around people. This playful spirit will surely light up any home. If you're interested in adopting Taiya, please visit the Humane Society of Preble County's website to complete an application. Her adoption fee is $275, which covers spaying, microchipping, deworming, and vaccinations. Your new best friend is just one click away.
