Meet Duffy, a big and affectionate dog who thrives on companionship. He adores being part of everyday life, happiest when he’s receiving pets, relaxing close by, or snuggling with his favorite humans. Duffy loves outdoor adventures too—he enjoys walks, running, and exploring the woods, always alert for rabbits and squirrels. He’s leash-trained and would choose a walk over a treat any day. Duffy's ideal home is an adult-only environment with a fenced yard, where he would prefer to be the only pet. While he has enjoyed playing with other dogs in the past, he would thrive as the only companion in the home. Duffy is fully house trained and can be left alone without incident, though he does not do well with crating and prefers to roam freely. Though Duffy has a history of idiopathic epilepsy, his veterinary neurologist does not currently recommend medication based on the occurrence of his seizures. He also has a history of managed GI issues with his specialized diet. This loving and loyal boy is looking for a home where he can be cherished, included in daily activities, and enjoy plenty of outdoor time and snuggles. Ready to fall in love?
