About Magnus
Meet Magnus! This handsome boy has been waiting far too long to find his forever home, and it’s time for a change. Magnus is one of the sweetest dogs and has spent much of his puppyhood in a shelter environment. He’s ready to leave kennel life behind and discover what it means to be part of a family. At about 10.5-11 months old and weighing around 50 lbs, Magnus is likely close to full grown. While we suspect he’s a Pittie/bully breed mix, don’t let that deter you; there’s a stigma that often overlooks wonderful dogs like him. He came to the shelter as a stray in June and has the potential to flourish in a consistent home. As a typical young pup, Magnus is happy, energetic, and playful but still learning the ropes. He needs a dedicated family that understands he will need ongoing guidance as he transitions to home life. His adopter should be ready to work on basic obedience and help him establish a routine, as he has quite a bit of energy. Magnus gets along well with other dogs, enjoying their company. He might be a bit too enthusiastic for some, so a playful, higher-energy dog companion or a patient dog would mesh well. A cat-free home is ideal for him at this stage, as we can’t determine how he interacts with felines. A yard with secure fencing would be a bonus for Magnus to run and play, but he can also adapt to an apartment if his exercise needs are met. He’s a sweet, happy dog who deserves the chance to experience real home life. The shelter he's in is overcrowded, and dogs like Magnus face uncertain futures. He’s already been waiting far too long and is ready for someone to see his potential and provide the love and stability he needs. Patience and commitment are essential as he adjusts to his new life.
