Meet Malia, a petite Boston Terrier with a sweet disposition and an eager spirit. She is just about to turn 2 years old and weighs around 12 pounds. Malia was surrendered by a breeder and is currently being fostered in Kansas City, MO. As she learns how to be a dog, Malia truly shines in the company of others. She adores her three female foster siblings and loves to cuddle on the couch or play in the backyard. The sun is her new favorite spot, and she's beginning to enjoy toys as well. Malia does best in a home with another dog who can help guide her through the ins and outs of life as a loving companion. While Malia is still mastering potty training and has had a few accidents indoors, she’s eager to learn and impress her foster parents. This sweet girl is shy but friendly, and she gets along wonderfully with other dogs. She's not yet tested with cats or children, but her gentle nature hints at a kind heart. Malia is currently undergoing heartworm treatment, which is fully covered by her rescue, and she's spayed and vaccinated.
