About Licorice
Meet Licorice. This sweet, laid-back girl is searching for her forever family and is sure to bring plenty of joy to her new home. Licorice was rescued from a hoarding situation in Dresden, where over 60 dogs faced neglect. She’s ready to leave that behind and start fresh. Though she may initially appear shy, once she warms up, she becomes a loving companion, often following her humans around and even playing with other dogs. Licorice is mostly potty trained, but she might have a few accidents while adjusting to her new environment, so patience is key. She is fully kennel trained and gets along well with dogs and cats, provided the cats are dog-savvy. Older, dog-savvy children would be her ideal playmates. To help her acclimatize, she’ll need someone to commit to a few weeks of patience as she adjusts. A house with a fenced yard is required, though having another dog isn’t necessary if someone is home regularly. For further peace of mind, Licorice comes with a fully sponsored adoption fee.
