About Chief

Meet Chief! At just about 10 weeks old and weighing around 15 pounds, this little guy is ready to step into his new life. Chief had a tough beginning, found abandoned at four weeks, but his confidence shines through. His sleek black coat features a charming white patch on his chest. While his exact breed mix is uncertain, his vibrant personality is unmistakable. Chief is the life of the party. He wakes up eager to fill his day with energy bursts, playful backyard dashes, and well-deserved puppy naps. Not the type to cling to your lap, he happily settles on his own bed nearby after playtime. At night, he walks into his crate like a champ and sleeps all night without a fuss. Intelligent and quick to learn, Chief has already figured out how to ring potty bells to signal when he needs out. On walks, he’s playful, alternating between exploring and sprinting ahead. He chats a bit in the car, so a travel crate keeps him safe and comfortable. Food motivates him, making training enjoyable—he's learning to take treats gently and respect personal space when meeting new friends. Currently, Chief lives with children and three other dogs, including a senior blind pup. He's quickly learned to give the older dog the space it needs. We haven’t introduced him to cats yet. The ideal home for Chief would have an active lifestyle, a love for puppy training, and perhaps a confident dog buddy to show him the ropes. A fenced yard would be a great plus!
