Meet Darius! Darius's journey with Rescue the Underdog began when he was just 6 days old, in need of an experienced bottle feeder after being separated from his mama. Thanks to one of our devoted fosters, he thrived and is now growing into a bright, affectionate puppy. At five months old, Darius has a playful nature, knowing commands like sit and getting along well with kids. He adores his foster sister, Paloma, though he can be a bit shy around new dogs—warm up time helps him become more confident. Currently, Darius is enrolled in puppy training and socialization classes, focusing on leash skills and embracing new experiences. He’s up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and will require a spay/neuter contract upon adoption since he is too young to be neutered yet. If you want a sweet puppy with a resilient spirit and a lot of love, Darius could be the ideal fit for your family. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
