About Luffy
Luffy’s honey-toned coat and big, goofy spirit set the tone for his name and outlook. There’s a distinct silly streak in him—he loves when someone throws a ball and will happily chase it around the yard. Luffy enjoys company, especially when sharing his play space with his shelter pal Bobby. That said, his exuberance sometimes gets the best of him: play can make him jumpy and even a bit nippy when he’s really excited. Because of this, he’s not a match for homes with young children. His ideal adopter has experience and knows how to channel his energy with guidance and positive training. Luffy’s bright and eager to learn, but needs someone patient and steady to help him thrive. He’s already showing a lot of promise as a loyal and entertaining companion who will reward commitment with affection and fun. Your new best friend is just one click away.
