Meet Dara. This adorable girl has a wonderfully sweet and playful personality. Above all, Dara just wants to be near her people. She thrives on attention and affection, loving to be wherever you are. Dara gets along fantastically with other dogs and cats, overflowing with youthful energy. Her favorite activities include wrestling and playing with her furry friends, as well as chasing and retrieving her stuffed toys and ball. After some fun, she loves to settle down for quality cuddle time. She is progressing well with potty and crate training, and she’ll flourish in a home offering patience and consistency as she acclimates to her new surroundings. Dara came to Hero significantly underweight but, thanks to nutritious meals, she’s gaining strength and working towards a healthy weight. Despite her past, she is a happy, affectionate little dog who seems grateful for love and attention.
