Leo is a male, small dog who is approximately 9 months old. He has a lovely apricot and beige coat mixed with white and cream, and his medium-length fur will require regular grooming. Leo is not yet altered but is vaccinated, making him a happy and healthy companion to bring home. He is seeking a family that can shower him with the love and patience he needs.

About Leo

Leo is a striking young dog ready to embrace the joys of a loving home. At around nine months old and weighing 11 pounds, he’s part Maltese and is eager to learn about family life. His backstory is a challenging one; he was rescued along with his sister Bella and father Milo after their previous owners abandoned them. Thankfully, they found refuge at AFC, where he’s now ready for a fresh start. Given Leo's previous life as an outdoor dog, he'll need a patient adopter who can help him adjust to indoor living. Some potty and leash training are on his to-do list, along with regular grooming to keep his beautiful medium-length coat looking sharp. Leo has a friendly disposition; he gets along well with both dogs and children, making him a great addition to any family. He’s currently scheduled for neutering but is still looking for his forever home. This sweet boy has tremendous potential and just needs a caring family to help him thrive.
