Meet Blanche, a sweet senior dog in search of her forever home. When she arrived at Misfit Manor Rescue & Sanctuary, we were told she could be a hospice case due to her extensive medical needs, including a large bladder stone that caused significant discomfort. Thankfully, she has undergone successful surgery and is now recovering well. There are still challenges ahead for Blanche, as a mass attached to her bladder has been discovered, and while it is not operable, we are waiting for biopsy results to understand her long-term prognosis better. Blanche also has a heart murmur and impaired vision in one eye. Remarkably, she navigates her surroundings with ease, finding her way around without difficulty. Despite everything she’s faced, Blanche’s spirit shines through. She is gentle, loving, and has shown no signs of aggression. We seek a very special person or family who understands that adopting an older dog requires compassion and patience. Someone willing to provide the care she needs without focusing on how much time they have together. Blanche deserves a warm and safe environment filled with affection and kindness.
