About Mr. Magoo

Mr. Magoo's journey has been challenging, yet his capacity for love shines through. Rescued from a neglectful situation, he arrived underweight but has shown remarkable resilience. From the moment he came into our care, he has embodied kindness and trust in humans, despite his traumatic past. Currently, he is undergoing treatment for heartworm disease, a serious condition that will require consistent care and limited activity. However, he is making progress with the unwavering support of our team. He also has bilateral entropion, causing some discomfort with his eyelids, but this condition can be surgically corrected, and we are hopeful for his full recovery once he’s strong enough for the procedure. Mr. Magoo's affectionate nature makes him a favorite among staff and volunteers, and he truly loves everyone he meets. He is friendly with other dogs, further showcasing his sweet spirit. This boy deserves a fresh start with someone who can provide the patience and love he craves. In return, he’ll be a devoted companion, ready to share his heart.
