Our special needs senior, Missy, is looking for her forever home. Missy is a 100% sweetheart despite being blind (from built up scar tissue). Missy is currently in a foster home and her foster mom tells us she is the perfect dog if you're looking for a calm senior who is happy to chill most of the day. She does have eye medication which she gets twice a day. Her skin was in need of some help when Missy came to us but with weekly medicated baths, it has improved tremendously and continues to improve. She's about ready to be able to drop these baths to twice a month! Missy is in a home with another dog and, although she doesn't play, she's happy to hang out with her canine friend. Taking walks is not big on her list of things to do, but she will wait at the door when she needs to go potty and is happy to cruise around the fenced yard. If you don't have a fenced yard, she'll be fine taking short walks. Please consider adopting this special needs, senior dog.
