Meet Rupert, a charming 3 to 4-year-old Terrier mix. Rescued from a southern shelter as a stray, he arrived with quite a few burrs but is on his way to looking sharp again as his coat grows out. Rupert has matured past the puppy phase and is an appropriate chewer—not particularly interested in toys, but he loves a good hard bone or treat. He’s comfortable in his crate at night but can also be left out for a few hours without issue. With a low to moderate energy level, Rupert enjoys spending time outdoors simply observing the world around him. While he gets along well with other dogs, Rupert prefers to be your one and only when it comes to affection.
