Sweet and affectionate, Lucas is looking for a family that will help him channel his energy into positive behaviors. About Lucas

Meet Lucas! Lucas is a 1-year-old, 9-pound male Miniature Poodle with a puppy spirit that shines brightly. He’s full of energy one minute and fast asleep the next, always ready to chase toys or even his own tail. His curiosity leads him to chew on various household items—shoes, blankets, you name it! He is still mastering appropriate play manners. Although he plays with undeniable enthusiasm, he does have a tendency to play-bite, so a home with young children isn't ideal for him. Despite his jumping excitement when greeting people, he knows how to sit and often flops down to earn those loving pets. Lucas is potty trained but may have the occasional accident, especially during joyful greetings. Though bath time isn't a favorite, his groomer says he behaves well. His charming little underbite adds to his appeal. When he calms down, Lucas reveals his affectionate and cuddly personality, preferring to snuggle up with his humans. He walks well on a leash but tends to bark at other dogs; still, he has shown to get along great with the playful dog in his foster home. We think a home with another young companion would be ideal for him. This fun-loving, affectionate young dog is looking for a family committed to helping him refine his puppy behaviors. Once settled, he offers sweetness and cuddles in return! Adoption fee is $500. Lucas is spayed, microchipped, heartworm checked, and current on vaccines.
