About Cricket

Meet Cricket! Cricket is a sweet 5-month-old Bengal mix who has already overcome a lot in his short life. Born outdoors to an abandoned mother cat, he didn’t experience kindness from humans early on. However, since coming into rescue, he is discovering that people can be safe and loving, and he’s making great progress. Still a shy little guy, Cricket won’t be the kitten who jumps into strangers’ arms right away. He needs a patient, loving person who will continue to show him that he can trust humans at his own pace. His secret weapon? Churus! This boy loves them. When the delicious tube of kitty goodness comes out, he gets a burst of bravery and might even crawl into your lap for a taste. Cricket has a special fondness for other cats and would thrive with a friendly feline companion. As he interacts with our volunteers, his personality begins to shine through. Each small victory feels monumental as he learns to trust more and reveal the wonderful kitten hiding beneath his cautious exterior. He doesn’t need someone to "fix" him, just a caring individual who can consistently show him that he is safe now. For the right person, earning Cricket’s trust will be an incredibly rewarding experience. Cricket comes neutered, microchipped, with vaccinations, deworming treatments, and he is litter trained.
