About Werra
Werra is a charming young lady with a unique name that reflects her light skin, derived from Mexican Spanish slang, and also shares the name of a river in Germany. This sweet girl is a mixed breed, primarily a Rat Terrier and Chihuahua, born on December 25, 2021, making her about 1 year and 9 months old. Weighing around 11 pounds, she has a lovely short coat that features a mix of white, cream, and black shades. Werra came into care alongside her sister Peluda, and they share a strong bond; Werra hopes to find a family that will adopt them together. Although she has been house trained, there have been a few accidents as she adjusts to her new environment. She's quite adaptable, having been in both a home with other dogs and in a crate. She enjoys playing fetch with small tennis balls but takes a little time to warm up to new people, exhibiting a gentle shyness initially. When she feels comfortable, she enjoys cuddling and rolling over for belly rubs. While Werra gets along well with other dogs, she prefers not to be around toddlers or small children. Her love for car rides and her affectionate nature make her a great companion for a new family. Are you ready to welcome this sweet girl into your home?
