About Pumpkin

Meet Pumpkin! Pumpkin is a tiny girl estimated to be around 7 weeks old. She will be heading to her foster home in Millsboro, Delaware during the first weekend of October. Our best guess places her as an Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler and Terrier mix, possibly with some Chihuahua or small-breed genetics. Despite her small size, Pumpkin has an irresistibly cute face. Her warm coloring, dark muzzle, and those sweet puppy eyes embody her fall-inspired name perfectly. As a young puppy, she will need a dedicated forever family ready to continue her training in potty habits, crate skills, leash manners, socialization, and the typical puppy nibbles. Pumpkin's adoption fee is $550, and she comes with a signed spay/neuter contract since she's too young to be altered before adoption. Once her spaying is completed around 6 months of age, the adopter can reclaim $100 of the adoption fee. Most of our dogs come from high-intake shelters in Texas or from the streets of South Texas. Your adoption fee helps fund important care like vaccines, deworming, microchipping, and other veterinary needs. Paws Deep Animal Rescue collaborates with VCA Animal Hospitals, offering a complimentary First Exam within the first 14 days of adoption, along with limited health coverage for minor illnesses during that period. In case you're wondering, Pumpkin gets along with both dogs and children, making her a great addition to a family. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and let's get started.
