Billy's story began four years ago when he was rescued from a shelter in North Carolina. He was cherished by a senior couple until their mobility issues led them to find him a new home, deserving of the attention and exercise he craves. In his foster home, he's shown to be completely housebroken and settles nicely, though like many dogs without formal training, he could use a bit of guidance in basic commands and door manners, which his foster family is already helping him with. This hound mix loves the outdoors. He enjoys fresh air, car rides with his head out the window, and exploring nature's scents. Hiking and walks are his favorites, so he'd be thrilled to join an active family. With so much affection to give, Billy is eager to find a forever home that will keep him learning and share adventures together.
