Meet Bru, an energetic 6-month-old Shepherd/Pit mix who’s full of love and personality. This big-hearted boy weighs about 42 lbs, and his size often surprises him as much as it does those around him. Bru brings massive enthusiasm to everything he does, including playtime, where he’s still mastering how to navigate his growing body. Previously known as "Ears" due to his prominent ears, Bru’s charm comes from both his goofy antics and his affectionate nature. He thrives on cuddles and simply being close to his people. His exuberance means he often jumps during greetings, so his new family will need to help him learn appropriate manners and impulse control. He does well with kids and dogs, making him a great addition to any pet-loving home. Bru is currently learning how to interact with cats in his foster home. While he is playful and enthusiastic, his family will need to supervise these interactions until he understands how to be gentle with his feline friends. Excitement can sometimes lead to a little tinkle when he meets new people or during thrilling moments.
