Meet Jade! This sweet Husky mix is on the younger side, estimated to have been born in 2023. Though she might take a moment to warm up, the payoff is huge. Once comfortable, Jade is affectionate, playful, and filled with personality. She came into rescue a bit timid, but she’s rapidly transformed into a lovebug who adores being around people and is particularly great with children of all ages. Jade likes to sleep in her crate at night but is equally content lounging on the couch. She's a medium-to-high energy girl, often matching the vibe of her household. Being vocal and expressive, she enjoys howling and “singing” for attention. She has mastered the command 'sit' and relishes playing with stuffed animals and earning treats. Fully potty trained, a few nervous accidents were all she had when she first arrived. Jade is smart and continues to gain confidence daily, learning to navigate her leash with some help from her foster. She does have some anxiety, so she'll thrive in a home where someone is often around, ideally with a fenced yard for safe play. Currently, Jade is undergoing treatment for heartworm and must keep her activity low. She's not ready for neighborhood walks but gets her exercise via supervised time in her foster's backyard.
