This medium-sized beauty weighs around 60 lbs and has the classic Husky opinions that make her quite the character. Nikita is independent and a little stubborn, but her charming conversations and howls will keep you entertained. Rescued from a neglectful situation where she had been confined to an apartment, she has made impressive progress in foster care. While her potty training is improving, her forever home should be prepared for some ongoing management. Nikita enjoys her neighborhood walks, where she is a delight on the leash, walking with curiosity but no reactivity to other animals. At home, she blooms into a wonderfully calm companion who loves napping on a cool floor or nearby while you go about your day. She does have bursts of playful energy and adores boiled chicken, so a little extra effort in the kitchen will win her heart. In the car, she rides quietly but may need some extra time due to some weakness in her hips. Nikita has lived harmoniously with three cats and does well with small dogs, but she can be selective about larger ones.
