About Cricket
Cricket is a lovable goofball with a big personality and an even bigger heart. At around 1.5 years old and DNA-tested as a Pit Bull/Husky mix, he weighs just over 70 pounds and wears his nickname, “Big Head,” with pride. Cricket’s energy is constant; he’s always ready for an adventure and never turns down a session of tug. Don’t worry about him making a racket—he’s calm and quiet in public. He shines in social settings, getting along well with people and other dogs. He’d thrive in a home where he has at least one canine companion to play with. Cricket does great with children and is working on being gentle around cats. Though his excitable nature shows when he meets new people, it doesn’t last long. A few belly rubs or some treats quickly win him over. Smart and eager to please, Cricket has picked up basic commands like “sit,” “wait,” and “down.” He’s crate trained and content spending nights and workdays in his kennel. He’s just as affectionate as he is playful, happy to snuggle up after a day of fun. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
