Linus is currently being fostered in PA and is ready for his forever home! This sweet, small adult male dog, who is a mix of Jack Russell Terrier and Lhasa Apso, is around 4-5 years old and is sighted. He shows a strong affection toward his foster mom and especially enjoys the company of her 7-year-old granddaughter. Linus gets along with every dog he meets, whether they are big or small, young or old. He's indifferent to cats, letting them go about their business without interference. While he doesn't actively seek out dog friends for cuddling, he coexists peacefully with them. A true gentleman, he demands respect from other dogs, indicating through growls when they get too close, but he's never been aggressive. An escape artist at heart, Linus is known for his climbing skills and should never be trusted in an unfenced area without supervision. He needs a family that can keep a watchful eye on him to prevent him from sneaking out or scaling fences. Although he has had some health issues in the past, including skin problems and sinus discharge, he's on the mend and shows a lot of promise. He's house trained, has vaccinations up-to-date, and is altered. This loving companion would thrive in a home where he is safe and protected, whether with other pets or as the only one.
