Meet Deena! Deena is a delightful 3-year-old Curr mix weighing 42.8 pounds, bringing a wonderful blend of adventure, playfulness, and affection to her new family. This medium-energy girl thrives on fun, whether it’s romping around the backyard with her buddy Bart or curling up for some quality couch time after a day of play. She gets along well with other dogs, displaying a dominant personality but not looking for trouble. Her bond with Bart is special, and they love engaging in playful tussles. Curiously, Deena has also been good with house cats; she typically ignores them but may occasionally sniff around out of interest. Given her adventurous spirit, Deena needs a secure yard to prevent any unintended explorations. While she hasn’t climbed a fence, watch for any gaps she might try to squeeze through. Luckily, she’s easy to catch, except for that one hilarious chase with some goats in the neighborhood! While untested around young kids, she has proven wonderful with teenagers, indicating that a home with older kids would suit her best. Deena is housebroken, crate trained, and maintains cleanliness and quiet in her crate, making her an excellent resident. With a love for food, treats, and squeaky toys, her heart truly belongs to her best friend Bart. Currently, Deena is managing some environmental allergies with medication but remains happy and active as she prepares to find her forever home. Understandably, she deserves a loving family after her past experiences in a hoarding situation. Deena is spayed, fully vaccinated, and will be ready to embark on her new journey September 10th.
