Thib made a bit of a name for himself at Thib's Gas Station, where locals would drop by with leftovers and kind words. Despite attempts by Good Samaritans to rescue him, this clever boy always found his way back to his familiar spot until we finally got him into safety. Though he lost his front teeth, possibly from trying to escape, his chewing ability remains intact thanks to the teeth he still has on the sides. At around 2 years old and 45 pounds, Thib embodies Southern charm. Nicknamed “Papaw,” he enjoys the simple life—napping, leisurely walks, and sniffing out every interesting scent. His favorite adventures are walks, where his nose leads him on every step. He can be a bit enthusiastic on the leash, so using a prong collar might make outings smoother for everyone. In typical hound fashion, Thib loves to leave his scent messages behind, introducing himself to every dog in the area. However, he has a bit of a Houdini streak; he might attempt an escape if there's an opening, so a securely fenced yard is a must. He prefers to be with his people rather than outside unattended.
