About Dolly
Dolly's journey has been nothing short of incredible. Rescued from severe neglect, she arrived at the shelter covered in mats, fleas, and showing signs of repeated breeding. After an emergency shave and spay, she emerged lighter and ready for her new life. Now, this 4.22-pound Yorkie with her oversized ears is a delightful mix of charm and cuteness. She stays alert and is not a nonstop barker; Dolly greets newcomers with a friendly wag instead. Estimated to be 2-3 years old, she is affectionate and loves to be near her people, following her foster mom with a joyful, high-stepping prance. Whether it’s dinner time or a potty break, she dances on her back legs, radiating excitement. Dolly thrives around other dogs, eagerly snuggling and playing with them. She would enjoy having another friendly companion, though she would also be fine as the only dog if she has her person’s company. She coexists well with a confident cat but can get a bit rambunctious in the chase, so a calm cat would be best. At night, Dolly prefers snuggling in bed and has her own favorite cozy spot. Potty training isn’t an issue for Dolly when she’s on a regular schedule. She’s typically reliable but may have an occasional accident near the door. This little companion is not destructive, behaves well when left alone, and comfortably rides in the car. Toys haven’t captured her interest much, but she values her time with people more than anything. Due to her small size, homes with children aged 10 and older are preferred, as she requires supervision outdoors. Despite her petite frame, Dolly's personality is larger than life, and she’s ready to bring joy and companionship to a lucky family. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
