Burrito
AvailableBurrito is a small, medium-coated adult male Yorkshire Terrier with golden, gray, and sable coloring, currently waiting for a forever home in LAMPASAS, TX. At about 6 years and 8 months old, he is not yet house trained and will need some help getting settled. He is paralyzed from the waist down, but his happy and affectionate personality shines through every day. Burrito is friendly with cats, dogs, and children and has his vaccinations up to date. He isn’t neutered yet, but this will be taken care of before adoption.
About Burrito
Burrito’s story is tough, but he never lost his spark. After a traumatic encounter with a large dog and some real neglect, Burrito landed with a devoted cat rescuer rather than meeting a tragic end. He’s made himself comfortable among a chummy crew of cats and a couple of dogs at the rescue for about a year, but he’s ready for a real home. Burrito’s paralyzed from the waist down—he moves purely with upper body strength and has never looked back. Wheels barely slow him down. Nothing fazes this little guy: he isn’t in pain, he’s quick, and he’s got a friendly, can-do attitude. He is not yet neutered, but his caretakers will make sure he’s ready when his adopter comes along. Burrito’s one of those rare dogs who’d thrive as a buddy for outdoor adventures as much as he would being a couch companion. If you’ve got room in your life for a tenacious, cheerful Yorkshire Terrier who doesn’t know the meaning of quit, Burrito won’t disappoint. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
