About Sir Russ
Meet Sir Russ, a 10-year-old, 8.5 lb sweetheart who's incredibly easy to love. This little gentleman enjoys cuddling with his people, whether on the sofa or nestled into a cozy blanket in his favorite corner. If he snuggles in your lap or wraps into your arms, he's likely to drift off to sleep right away. Sir Russ has limited vision and hearing, which has led him to develop his own unique way of communicating. His barks can mean he's asking for food, water, a potty break, or simply some TLC. His foster family patiently deciphers his needs. He finds joy in simple pleasures like leisurely walks on a leash and car rides. Sunbathing or relaxing in the shade is also a favorite pastime. With a slight heart murmur, Sir Russ requires some medical care, including eye drops for dryness. He can be a little tough when it's time for medication, so a patient caretaker is essential. When startled, he should always be woken gently, preferably wrapped in a soft blanket for security. Overall, Sir Russ is a delightful and loving companion who is ready for a patient family willing to learn his special language and give him all the snuggles he deserves. Ready to fall in love?
