Meet Arlo, a striking Australian Shepherd with a rich reddish-brown coat and captivating crystal-blue eyes. This dapper boy, often seen as the life of the party, truly knows how to bring charm into any room. At just 2 years old, he weighs in around 50 pounds and is full of energy and affection. Arlo came to us from a loving home and is now ready for his next adventure. True to his breed, he is energetic and curious, always wanting to know what you’re up to. Playtime is one of his favorite activities, and his beloved Frisbee can keep him engaged for hours! Being an intelligent dog, he’d excel in agility activities that challenge both his mind and body. This sociable boy gets along well with other dogs and has made friends with his foster family's young Aussie. Do keep in mind, though, that Arlo can be protective over his food during mealtimes, so feeding him separately is best. While he has walked calmly past children, families with kids over 12 are ideal, given his playful spirit. Cats, however, are not in his cards. In the evenings, Arlo knows when it’s time to wind down and enjoys snuggling up next to his favorite person. He’s fully house trained and responds to commands beautifully—plus he's a real gem on the leash. For all his playful energy, he still cherishes quiet moments in your company. Arlo is neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped. He’s looking for an active adopter or family who can appreciate his Australian Shepherd tendencies and keep him engaged.
