About Athena

Athena, a 4-year-old mixed breed of Saint Bernard and Border Collie, is anything but typical. With the agility and intelligence of a border collie, she commands attention and expects her way of life to be embraced by her humans. Picture her strutting with her favorite toy, clearly in charge, and you’ll get a glimpse of her playful spirit. Don't be fooled into thinking she’ll let you engage with her toys — she’s the boss of the game, and she'll let you know it with a knowing side-eye. Athena thrives on activity and has a packed agenda of agility exercises, hikes, and runs; she needs an owner who matches her energy and independence. If you're active and have a knack for training, she’ll reward you with loyalty and affection on her terms. Previously, Athena has lived with another dog and children, proving she can adapt well to family life. If you're ready for a playful partner who takes her role seriously, she's eager to meet you. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
