About Wolfie

Meet Wolfie, a spirited one-year-old Domestic Short Hair currently in Amherst, MA. Originally a tiny gas station kitten, she has grown into an affectionate, funny, and devoted companion. Wolfie adores her humans, often curling up in their arms or riding on their shoulders. She eagerly follows her people from room to room, ensuring she's part of whatever they’re doing. At night, she snuggles close, waking you in the morning with gentle licks to signal breakfast time! A playful and curious cat, Wolfie engages with her surroundings through soft "mrows" in response to her name. She enjoys wand toys, birdwatching, and even finds fascination in watching the toilet flush. Having lived with both cats and dogs, she loves animal companionship and often plays, cuddles, and grooms her furry friends. Wolfie is considered a special-needs kitty due to feline hyperesthesia syndrome (FHS), which causes episodes of overstimulation. Her condition is manageable with regular medication mixed into her food and a stable environment. She thrives with plenty of outdoor time, so a secure catio is essential to her happiness. Ideally, she needs a home with at least one friendly pet and someone who can be around for companionship. Wolfie’s requirements go beyond the average cat, but she rewards her family with endless love and joy. She seeks a person who works from home or spends a lot of time at home to help her flourish.
