About Caramel
Caramel was rescued from a high impound shelter in Kern County and has a joyful, exuberant personality. She's a typical wiggle butt golden retriever, always ready to play and see how many plushies she can fit in her mouth. Though she enjoys playing with other dogs, it’s best for her to be the only dog in the home since she can be a bit bossy. At around three years old, she weighs 66 pounds. Caramel is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and house trained. All dogs in our program are fostered to help us understand their needs better. Remember, we match dogs to homes based on suitability, not on a first-come, first-served basis. An application and adoption fee are required to make her part of your family.
