Meet Obi, our charming 11-month-old Golden Retriever! This delightful pup has quickly captured hearts since joining our rescue. Obi is the perfect blend of energetic fun and snuggly warmth. He enjoys playing fetch, showcasing his skills with a ball, and then winding down for some cozy belly rubs at your feet. While still mastering his leash manners, Obi shows potential for training. He can be a bit exuberant, pulling on the leash and trying to lead the way, but with patience, he will improve. A yard would be ideal during his training, allowing him to safely expend his lively energy. Obi is dog-friendly and quite sociable, inviting new canine friends to play, and he's shown curiosity towards cats and squirrels without a chasing instinct—though that’s still to be fully confirmed. Surprisingly for his age, Obi has solid house manners. He may hop onto the sofa now and then, but he respects boundaries like his crate and can be left alone without separation anxiety. This delightful pup takes treats gently and enjoys car rides, making him a great companion for coffee runs and adventures.
