About Luna
Meet Luna! Luna is an eight-and-a-half-year-old Terrier mix who currently resides in Hadley, MA. With her expressive eyes and silky black coat highlighted by charming white accents, she embodies resilience and deep affection. At 35 pounds, this gentle soul is quirky and intelligent, flourishing with structure and calmness in her routine. She knows commands like sit, wait, lay down, and spin, and she appreciates positive reinforcement during training sessions. Having made significant strides with separation anxiety, Luna now comfortably settles into her crate when her caregiver prepares to leave. While she remains sensitive to loud noises and busy environments, she shows improvement and even enjoys car rides now. Her ability to adapt is remarkable, making her a wonderful companion for someone who understands her gentle nature. Luna’s most heartwarming quirk is her tendency to roll onto her back for belly rubs when she feels secure—it's a sign of her trust. Though she currently does not do well with children, Luna needs a compassionate family ready to help bolster her confidence and celebrate her progress. Could you be the loving pet parent she’s been waiting for? If you’re interested in offering Luna a forever home, please email adopt@joyfulpets.com for more information on adopting her.
