About Chico

Chico is looking for a calm and loving retirement home where he can relax while still enjoying walks and some light exploration. He prefers a quiet environment and doesn’t do well with overly active dogs, especially puppies. A gentle, easygoing canine companion would suit him best, or he could thrive as the only dog. Once he settles in, his playful side shines through, and he even has adorable moments chasing his tail in excitement. Despite being blind, Chico enthusiastically navigates his world and embraces his daily adventures. He enjoys his walks, snuggles, and being close to his humans, but is also perfectly content curled up on the couch for some quiet time. His sweet personality makes him a wonderful companion, and he deserves a tranquil home to enjoy his golden years. Chico has not been around young children, so he might prefer older, respectful kids who can give him space. He is estimated to be between 10-11 years old and is up to date on vaccinations and will be microchipped before adoption. If you're interested in meeting him, please fill out our adoption application first. If it's a good fit, our adoption coordinator will reach out with the next steps. Ready to fall in love?
