Winnie is a charming 9-month-old Goldendoodle/Great Dane mix currently in foster care near Ames, Iowa. She came to us as an owner surrender along with her sisters and is now discovering what a loving home feels like. This sweet girl adores plush toys and has a keen eagerness to learn. She's a bit sensitive to loud noises and boisterous voices, so a patient family that can help her build confidence at her own pace would be ideal. Currently, Winnie is focused on potty training, crate training, and learning leash skills. She’s also starting to respond to her name and working on basic commands like “sit” and “come.” Her foster is introducing her to new experiences gradually to understand her personality better. Winnie requires a family committed to her ongoing training with patience and consistency. As a growing large-breed dog, she needs an environment ready for her energy and training needs. Before adoption, she will be spayed, and she's up-to-date on vaccinations, receiving deworming treatment, and microchipped. She’s looking for that forever home where she can thrive.
