Kay is a sweet senior Portuguese Podengo who has spent the last nine years outdoors and has recently come to our care. This golden girl is friendly with everyone—people, other dogs, and even cats. She adores children and is already house trained, making her a wonderful companion for a loving family. Despite her gentle nature, Kay has some anxiety when left home alone in her crate. The ideal home for her would be one where someone is around often, as she does howl and cry when feeling lonely. Finding her a home or a foster will be a challenging but rewarding task.
