Meet Iris! Iris is a vibrant 2-year-old pit mix weighing about 50 pounds. This sassy girl enjoys snuggles, couch time, and sunbathing, often nestling into the neck of someone she trusts. While she loves the comfort of her home, Iris is also a little cautious around new people and prefers calm, slow introductions to feel secure. At home, Iris is fully house trained and crate trained. She has a penchant for rearranging blankets in her crate, but watch out for her when doors open—she could try to dart outside. A quiet environment is a must, as she tends to be anxious in high-traffic places, making a home without young children the ideal setting. Iris can live with dogs but needs gradual introductions to feel comfortable. It would be best for her to pair with a calm, respectful canine companion. Cats are still a mystery for her. Recently, she started taking Reconcile for her anxiety, which means that she needs someone who can help her develop confidence and feel secure in her space.
