Meet Gauge! Gauge is on the lookout for his forever home. This energetic 6-month-old Australian Shepherd mix is a delightful companion, weighing about 45 lbs. Fostered in Ontario, CA, he thrives on love and attention from his family, making a home where someone is around most of the time ideal. Gauge is eager to learn and impress, already housebroken and getting the hang of leash walking. He adores other dogs and would benefit greatly from having a canine playmate. Whether it’s a game of chase in the yard or a calm evening indoors, Gauge knows how to balance playtime with cuddle time. He’s currently living harmoniously with cats and doesn’t chase or bother them, showing his gentle nature. Although crate training is still underway—he’ll go in willingly for treats—he prefers to be with his family. His foster family is dedicated to helping him adjust, and he typically settles down after a bit of initial barking. Neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and started on heartworm and flea/tick prevention, this sweet boy has a lot of love to offer.
