About Phoenix
Meet Phoenix! Phoenix is a lively 1-year-old mixed breed, rescued after she and her sister, Phyllis, were found tied up at a bus stop. Initially frightened, she has gradually learned to trust people with the help of our dedicated staff and volunteers. This energetic girl has a playful spirit and plenty of puppy enthusiasm. She already knows how to sit and loves to play fetch—she even brings her toys back when asked. While she’s still improving her leash skills, she handles walks well for her size and has ample time to learn. Social and friendly, Phoenix adores other dogs, happily engaging in play. People are her other favorite, and once she feels comfortable, she’ll greet you with hugs and affection. Phoenix does have cherry eye, which will be treated as part of her spay/adoption care. From a timid dog to a confident companion, Phoenix is ready for a home where she can continue to grow and thrive. Please bring your resident dogs for a meet and greet, along with proof of current vaccinations if you're considering adding her to your family. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
