Meet Nigel, a sweet and shy boy who has definitely seen some tough times. Rescued from the streets of Savannah, he's made remarkable progress in recovering his health and spirit. Currently in a loving foster home, Nigel is learning what it means to be cared for and loved, and he’s soaking up the affection he receives. Nigel's a hefty, cuddly tabby cat with a striking marbled coat and expressive green eyes. He has excellent litter box habits and enjoys his food, even the healthier options. Despite his past, he shows no signs of aggression, opting to freeze in place or find a hiding spot when he's nervous. The good news? He’s fantastic with other cats and friendly dogs, fitting in well with the pets in his foster home. We’re looking for a gentle and patient person or family who will allow him to adjust at his own pace. Once he recognizes your kindness, he’ll surely warm up to you. At an estimated 3-8 years old, Nigel is neutered, vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, and ready for his forever home. He can thrive as a solo cat or in a home with feline-friendly pets.
