Whiskers was found abandoned in a neighborhood in Bluffton, and now she’s looking for a real home. She’s about ten years old with a gentle, old-soul energy, and a soft coat in buff, gray, and blue-cream tones. At first, she’s a little shy, but give her a minute and she’ll turn warm and affectionate—she loves neck rubs, makes biscuits, and occasionally drools with contentment. Whiskers has a quirky, chatty side and does the funniest wiggle when she’s petted. She’s easygoing about food and has excellent litter box habits. Recently, she tested FIV positive, but that hasn’t dampened her spirit—cats with FIV can and do live long, happy lives.
