About Walter
Walter and his companion, Saffron, showed up together seeking shelterāthe kind of bold move you donāt often see from strays. Unlike most outdoor cats, Walter made it clear from the moment he arrived that heās eager to belong in a home. Heās confident, social, and loves attention, sometimes leaning his whole body into your legs just to remind you heās there. Adjusting to the foster home environment was barely a blip for him; even with a resident cat making a fuss, Walter kept his cool and didnāt bat an eye. Adopting Walter with Saffron would be sweetāthey have a long history and might miss each otherābut itās not required. Walter stands on his own, easily adapting and making space in his life for both cats and people. The rescue places cats only within a two-hour radius of the Tri-County area, except in special circumstances. Saturday is the only adoption day, and meeting a specific cat requires prior arrangement and pre-approval. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
