She loves to gather her treasures into a cozy pile, particularly if they carry the scent of her humans. While she won’t chew on them, she proudly makes off with them, asking for forgiveness in her charming way. House training has been smooth for Chesney, but she needs a human to accompany her outdoors; left alone, she tends to get anxious and might try to make her escape. It’s essential to have a chi-proof fence for her safety. She enjoys playing with balls and crinkly toys, and she loves to wrestle with other small friends for a couple of hours each evening. The best part? She’s a fantastic lap snuggler, complete with a unique snuggle snore and a fondness for blankets. Though previously underweight and nursing her puppies, she’s developed a healthy appetite and will eagerly seize any chance to sneak food. An adopter must be mindful of keeping food and trash out of reach. Chesney thrives on love and security, given her challenging start in life. During her spay, vets discovered she had been injured, resulting in pelvic fractures and a misaligned kneecap. While she currently wears a brace during activities and takes a joint supplement, knee surgery might be a possibility down the line.
