About Rooster

Rooster is a young dog, around 10-12 months old and weighing 40-45 lbs. His journey to today has been remarkable. Originally a long-term resident at a shelter, Rooster spent months feeling small and overlooked, often trembling quietly in his kennel. After finding a loving foster home, he began to flourish. Rooster is now playful, affectionate, and well-mannered. He's potty trained, crate trained, and walks on a leash without issue. He even knows several commands, including sit, down, and β€œgimme five!” Although he's made significant progress, new environments can still overwhelm him, so he needs an adopter who can introduce him to the world slowly and positively. Rooster is neutered, vaccinated, and friendly with both cats and dogs. He is also wonderful with respectful children, proving he’s capable of learning and love. Rooster spent far too long being afraid of his surroundings, and now he just needs someone to show him how beautiful life can be. Give him the chance to continue his journey.
