Hewey is a 3-year-old, 70-lb neutered Red Heeler/Pit Bull mix bursting with personality and a love for everyone he meets. He’s microchipped, house trained, and crate trained, with no known medical issues or bite history. This happy dog is a master at catching treats and isn’t shy about seeking affection, often attempting to crawl into your lap despite his size. Though he enjoys his kennel, he prefers snuggling up in bed with his human. He does well with men, women, children, and newcomers, showing a friendly disposition. While he loves to play with other dogs, he’s not overly dominant and would also thrive as an only pet soaking up all the attention. Hewey can be a little rambunctious, especially when excited, so he needs a handler who can manage his strength and continue reinforcing his leash manners.
