This sweet senior Cattle Dog has spent much of her life chained outside, but she’s now experiencing love, comfort, and the joys of being part of a household. She’s housebroken and does well with children, and you can feel the warmth of her gentle personality instantly. Lou Lou thrives on her walks and has embraced the cozy home life. Despite being blind in one eye, she doesn’t let that hold her back — she keeps watch over her neighborhood and might even launch a surprise attack on the occasional couch pillow if the situation calls for it. However, Lou Lou is again seeking a forever home. There was an incident where she injured a barn cat while adopted, so we are looking for a cat-free environment where she can flourish without any small animals. Her previous foster home proved she can coexist with cats, but the right match is essential for her success. She’s heartworm positive, but don’t let that scare you — her treatment is fully covered. After everything she’s been through, Lou Lou just needs a kind, safe home that understands her past and is ready to offer her a loving forever future.
