About Tofu
Tofu survived a challenging past and she’s ready to embrace her next chapter. Found alone by a creek in Philadelphia, she was starved and suffering from serious pressure sores. The future looked bleak when she first arrived, but Tofu’s will to live has driven her extraordinary recovery. Now, this sweet girl is flourishing. With newfound strength, Tofu is a delight to be around and shows that she has been trained in her past, responding well to basic commands. Tofu loves routine and thrives on predictability. She’s about 2 years old and enjoys the company of other low-energy dogs after a proper introduction. Transitioning to a new home will require patience and a decompression period, helping her adjust without feeling the need to take charge. One of her quirks? She loves to counter surf, but she quickly learns when told "NO." Currently, she needs a foster-to-adopt home within an hour of our veterinary offices in PA or NJ while we prepare her for spaying.
